Integrated Mesh

For those with hair too fine or thin for traditional Hair Extension Methods

Are you dealing with Hair Loss or Thinning?

You may not be a candidate for traditional Hair Extensions if you have/are dealing with any of the following:

  • Hair Loss
  • Excessive thinning
  • Female Pattern Hair Loss
  • Telogen Effuvium (TE)
  • Alopecia
  • Alopecia Arteata
  • Chemotherapy
  • Radiotherapy
  • Front Fibrosing Alopecia
  • Post Pregnancy Thinning or Loss
  • Thyroid Disease
  • Stress Related Hair Loss
  • Trichotillomania

Using traditional hair extensions in these situations is not possible because the no matter the type of extension, the attachement points will be completely visable and the natural hair is not strong enough to hold the added weight of the extension.

What is Integrated Mesh?

Integrated Mesh is an installation method that creates even and safe weight distribution (no matter your type of hairloss) for a Handtied Lace Closure Topper and Wefts to be sewn onto.

We make the same two promises to clients receiving Integrated Mesh as we do with traditional hair extensions….

  1. Your natural hair and scalp will be looked after meticulously. A trim on your natural hair to keep your ends from splitting and thinning and a thorough examination of scalp health is part of our regular hair enhancement services.
  2. We will tell you ‘No’ if we have any concern about your natural hair becoming damaged. That may not sound very nice but we are always honest if your desired look cannot be safely provided.

Integrated Mesh opens up an entire new world of possibilities for clients dealing with hair loss! We have seen first hand how much of an impact this service can make from increase confidence to simply falling back in love with your hair.

Installation Appointment

Preparation

Your hair will be washed and clarified to ensure your scalp and hair is in top condition before installation. This includes blowing your hair dry to create the perfect base. If your natural hair is in need of a trim it will also be done during the preperation stage.

Mesh Installation

A soft, stretchy mesh is sized and cut according to the desired look. Your natural hair is pulled through this mesh and secured to your natural hair with beads. The beads are placed from your partline down the head to create rows. The amount and placement of the rows are unique for each client depending on any problem areas.

Once installed, the mesh provides even weight distribution and increased stability which is essential when dealing with hair loss.

Lace Closure Installation

A Lace Closure is simply a small hair piece. Individal hairs are handtied to a piece of extremely fine, transparent lace to create a topper. The fine lace gives us the ability to create a natural hairline as the front portion of the lace can be cut.

The Lace Closure is secured by sewing it to the mesh. This piece is what ensures your installation is invisible and creates the fullness you are looking for on top.

Depending on your desired look, Hand-tied Wefts can also be sewn directly below the Lace Closure to create the thickness and length desired.

Blending & Styling

In order for your Mesh Integration to look as natural as possible, the Lace Closure (and additional Hand-tied Wefts if applicable) will be cut and layered.

And of course, a you’ll receive full styling so you walk out feeling your best!

Service Time and Cost

Your service will take approximatley 2 hours from start to finish and costs $285.

The Lace Closure Topper is an additional charge and ranges from $850-$1050. With proper care the closure lasts up to 8 months and can be reinstalled until it needs replacement.

Maintenance Appointment

4 weeks after installation you will have a 30 minute Maintenance Appointment that includes the following:

Bead Move-Up

In order for the Lace Closure to keep it’s seamless look the beads at the front hairline will be loosened, moved up the hair and reclamped. This keeps the closure flush to the hairline.

Sewing the Hairline

After the beads have been moved up the front hairline is re-sewn to secure the closure.

Styling

You’ll get a touch up style on dry hair before you go!

Service Time and Cost

Your service will take approximatley 30 minutes from start to finish and costs $85.

Full Re-Installation Appointment

After another 4 weeks your Lace Closure Topper will need to be removed and reinstalled.  This is a necessity to keep your natural hair and scalp in optimal health.  Re-Installation includes:

Removal

After 8 weeks of wear Your Lace Closure and Mesh will be removed completely. We will inspect the hair and scalp to ensure everything is looking great for re-installation.

Preparation

Time to enjoy a shampoo and treatment experience! Your hair will be shampooed to remove any buildup from your hair and/or scalp, followed by a scalp treatment. While the treatment is processing, your Lace Closure will be washed and dried as well for a completely fresh install. If your natural hair needs a trim it will be completed at this time as well as a blowdry.

Mesh & Lace Closure Installation

The same steps will be followed from your original installation for both the Mesh and Lace Closure.  You’ll receive brand new Mesh while the Lace Closure will be reused. Some adjustments may be made during installation based on your feedback from the past 8 weeks of wear.

Blending & Styling

Since we’ll be reusing the Lace Closure and any Hand-tied Wefts from your original installation, new blending work will not be necessary.  If you are looking to change the cut we can absolutely do that for you!

And of course, a you’ll receive full styling so you walk out feeling your best!

Service Time and Cost

Your service will take approximatley 2 hours from start to finish and costs $285.

Why does it cost this much?

This is FAQ #2!

Just keep reading! It’s all explained here for you!

Why are Lace Closures this Expensive?

This is the #2 most common question we get asked! We agree – extensions and Lace Closures are expensive and are a luxury service.  There’s a very, very simple explanation for why they cost so much.

Hair takes years to grow. You are paying for instant results.

If hair grows on average 1/2″ per month, that means:

16″ Lengths take 2.6 years to grow

Lace Closures are a handmade product

Human hair is a natural resource.  There is no machine made equivalent alternative.

And finally, the old saying is true: You get what you pay for.

That’s not meant to be negative – it’s just the honest truth. If a price for human hair product seems too good to be true, then some concession has been made in the quality and processing of the hair.

This can mean a drastically shorter lifespan, difficulty with excessive matting and/or tangling, difficulty styling and so much more.

We want you to have an amazing Integrated Mesh experience so we offer payment plans to make purchasing your new hair as easy and flexible as you possible!!
