All too often we meet clients who haved crossed over that line because of damage done to their natural hair and scalp from long term extension wear without the natural hair being looked after.
The health of your natural hair is our priority which means….
- Your natural hair will be looked after meticulously. A trim on your natural hair to keep your ends from splitting and thinning and a thorough examination of scalp health is part of our regular extension maintenance.
- We will tell you ‘No’ if we have any concern about your natural hair becoming damaged. That may not sound very nice but there are cases where your desired look and method choice cannot be safely provided. If that’s the case we will absolutely tell you

Extension Types Available
Nano Extensions
Nano Extensions feature the smallest attachment point on the market! They are amazing for fine and medium hair types both in adding length and fullness. Nanos are also amazing for adding a pop of no commitment hair colour!
Longevity
Nano Extensions can be installed, removed and installed again for the lifetime of the hair!
Installation and Maintenance
A full head of Nanos takes approximatley 2hrs to install, cut to blend and style.
Maintenance will be a maximum of every 8 weeks (the timing depends on your hair type!) where each nano will be removed, the natural hair combed out and reinstalled with a new bead. This process generally takes 1.5 – 2hrs to complete.

Hand-tied Weft Extensions
Hand-tied Weft Extensions are hands down the most popular extension type right now! As opposed to a strand by strand application like Nanos, a hand-tied weft is like a veil of hair that wraps from one side of the head to the other. These veils can be stacked and layered to create whatever look you desire. Hand-tied wefts can be installed a multitude of different ways but our favourite method is the Dòchas Hidden Bead Method that conceals all the attachment points and leaves you with nothing but seamless, undetectable hair extensions. Great for all hair types, this is our go to for adding maximum fullness and length where a completely undetectable method is desired.

Hand-tied Weft Extensions can be installed, removed and installed again for the lifetime of the hair!
Installation and Maintenance
Installed in either 2 or 3 rows in a Hidden Bead Method. Installation ranges from 2 – 3 hrs.
Maintenance occurs a maximum of 8 weeks after installation (the timing depends on your hair type!). Our Method allows for a ‘Bump Up’ where we are able to slide the grown out wefts back up to the scalp and resecure without any additional sewing! Bump Up appointments take anywhere from 30-60 minutes and include Styling.
After approximatley another 8 weeks the wefts will be removed completely and reinstalled.

Seamless Tape-In Extensions
Tape-In Extensions are another great option. We offer Regular Tape-In full head installations on request, but our favourite way to use Tape-Ins is for fullness and/or correction work. Tradtional tape-in extensions have a flat tab at the top of the extension where the tape is attached. Our tape-ins are Seamless, which means there is NO visable tab at the top. All you see is hair that looks exactly like your natural hair at the scalp. This is a great feature for fine haired clients whose hair density would leave traditional tape-ins easily visable.
Longevity
Tape-In Extensions can be installed, removed, retaped and reinstalled again for the lifetime of the hair!
Installation and Maintenance
Installation is done by laying the tape-in on top of the hair, just down from the scalp. The extension attaches to a fine section of hair, is then flipped up and secured by either another tape-in OR with a single sided piece of tape. The exact installation is dependant on your hair type and your end goal. Full head installation, cut to blend and style takes approximatley 2 hrs.
Maintenance occurs a maximum of 8 weeks after installation (the timing depends on your hair type!). Tape-ins are removed from the hair, washed, dried and retaped before being reinstalled.

Longevity
Our Premium Line of Hair with excellent home care can last up to 12 months. Lighter blonde shades have a slightly shorter lifespan since just like your natural hair they have to go through additional processing. Blonde shades with excellent home care can last between 7-10 months. We absolutely have had client’s whose hair has lasted them beyond the 12 month mark thanks to their meticulous home care.
A word of caution about Extension Longevity: There are promises made by Extension brands claiming their hair has a 1-2 year lifespan. This has definitely NOT been our experience in our years of hands on testing different brands.
The average lifespan of any premium quality hair is 7-10 months for lighter shades and 12 months for darker shades.
Don’t forget that your home care is the #1 way to ensure you get the most out of your investment. We’d love to promise years and years of longevity, but that’s not the reality of human hair extension products. We hope this information helps!

How much does it Cost?
This is the #1 question we get and also the most difficult to answer without an in person consultation.
Price is based on 4 determining factors: Length of natural hair, density of your natural hair, the chosen extension type and your desired end result.
Since these 4 factors differ for everyone, naturally the price also differs. Don’t forget we ALWAYS give an exact personalized quote in our FREE Extension Consultations! With the desire to make general pricing info as easy to access as possible, hopefully you’ll find the following guide helpful!
A word of caution on comparing prices from salon to salon: Ask for the total weight of the hair you are buying. Lots of places sell hair by the ‘Bundle’. For Nano and Tape-Ins, a bundle is a package of extension pieces. This seems like a great way to simplify pricing but there is no industry standard to dictate the number of pieces included in the ‘bundle’ nor the total weight of those pieces.
Ask for the total weight of the extentions you are buying. This ensures you are comparing apples to apples! 🍎😉
Pricing Factors
This information is based on full head installations.
Length of Natural Hair
Generally the greater the distance between your current length and your desired length, the more hair you will need to make an undetectable blend.
Density of Natural Hair
For a flawless look you will need enough extension hair to match (at minimum) or exceed the density of your natural hair. How far you need to exceed it will depend entirely on your desired look. Generally, the thicker your natural hair is the higher the total weight of extension hair you will need for your install.
Extension Type
Although you buy the finished product, the cost of each type of extension is determined by the quality of the hair, the time/labor involved in making it and the colour. Nanos, Hand-tied Wefts and Seamless Tape-Ins are ALL handmade products and therefore are more expensive than machine made products such as machine wefts and classic tape-ins.
Desired Look
And this is what everything hinges on! If you are considering extensions it’s safe to assume the majority are looking for long and full hair, not to mention the preferred hair colour you are trying to create! Each client is unique, making each installation (and what’s required for it) very different.
So lets have a look at the options!

16″ Lengths – $450.00 (Cost of 100g of hair which is the minimum weight for a full head installation)
20″ Lengths – $520.00 (Cost of 100g of hair which is the minimum weight for a full head installation)
24″ Lengths – $680.00 (Cost of 120g of hair which is the minimum weight for a full head installation for this length)
Service Cost
Installation – For the minimum weights above, installation ranges from $188-$235
Maintenance – For the minimum weights above, maintenance ranges from $219-$250+
Please note: If there is tangling/matting from improper home care, maintenance cost may increase due to the additional time spent detangling. This is absolutely avoidable with proper home care 😉

Service Cost
Installation – This is a completely seamless method. No visible beads from the top or bottom, the most undectable install we offer! For the minimum weights above the most common install is done in 2 rows for $250.
Maintenance – Bump Up: 2 rows $195 After one bump up the wefts will be removed and reinstalled at the regular install price.
Please note: If there is tangling/matting from improper home care, maintenance cost may increase due to the additional time spent detangling. This is absolutely avoidable with proper home care 😉

We are currently offering this type of extension for fullness applications only. Tape-In Maintenance
20″ Lengths – $190 per 25 grams of hair
Service Cost
Installation – $45 for every 25 grams of hair
Maintenance – $60 for every 25 grams of hair, includes removal, retape and reinstall.
Please note: If there is tangling/matting from improper home care, maintenance cost may increase due to the additional time spent detangling. This is absolutely avoidable with proper home care 😉
Want to use a Payment Plan?
For totals between $50 – $999 the Pay in 4 option is available. This splits your total into 4 equal, biweekly interest free payments.
For totals $1000+ the Pay Monthly option is available. The 3 month terms carries as low as 0% interest and 6 and 12 month terms are both interest bearing.

Why are Extensions this Expensive?
This is the #2 most common question we get asked! We agree – extensions are expensive and are a luxury service. There’s a very, very simple explanation for why they cost so much.
Hair takes years to grow. You are paying for instant results.
If hair grows on average 1/2″ per month, that means:
16″ Lengths take 2.6 years to grow
20″ Lengths take 3.3 years to grow
24″ Lengths take 4 years to grow
Human hair is a natural resource. There is no machine made equivalent alternative.
And finally, the old saying is true: You get what you pay for.
That’s not meant to be negative – it’s just the honest truth. If a price for human hair seems too good to be true, then some concession has been made in the quality and processing of the hair.
This can mean a drastically shorter lifespan, difficulty with excessive matting and/or tangling, difficulty styling and so much more.
